"Staff were excellent, room was OK, but I booked a deluxe seaview with i thought a balcony, and got a view of the car park and no balcony. TV stations are adequate, but movie channel froze constantly. The shower drain was slow, and maintenance did not fix it on request. Breakfast was wonderful one day and not so wonderful other days. WIFI was good. In house food and drinks were expensive, A coke 18 ringit, 3.5 ringit at the local shops."

Et la laverie en face n’accepte que des moyen de paiement asiatique nos disposition pour les européens. Le buffet du petits déjeuner et très complet. Un bon bon point pour les équipements pour enfants (salle de jeu table de ping ping). Pour finir la salle de sport et très bien équipée."

"We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Penang Hill...

"Bed was comfy! Location is very convenient as there are bus stops, restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance. 1 thing tho we finished our glass bottle of water in the room but it was not refilled the next day. Probably need to request for it to be refilled. "

"The effing owner could not be reached via phone and I have no choice but to book another hotel room. Very very poor experience and very very disappointed with that. This owner is a scammer!!!"
