"This was a great place to catch our breath the day before we flew out of Cancun. A nice fitness center, the breakfast was delicious, and the airport shuttle driver was really great. My dad left before me and he assured me that he'd take care of him. :) It looks like places are walkable from the map but that's not exactly true (you can walk to Subway, Burger King, and a convenience store). I'd recommend the empanadas for 28 pesos from the convenience store and skip buying anything at the airport. "

"Amazing staff, great food, fun events going on, etc. The only real downside is the beach. It’s full of seaweed even at the time of year when it’s supposed to be at its lowest level. If you don’t mind not having a swimmable beach everything is perfect."

"I booked swim out, oceanfront room that‘s 2X more than the standard room. The room I was in was at the very end of the resort, oceanview was blocked by huge plants in front of the room. The building (building 7) was doing some maintenance/renovation work, and i was bothered by constant noise from the work, my room was smelling like paint and no apologies from the hotel at all. I’ve sent 4 e-mails to the hotel explaining the situation and no replies at all. "

"This was the original Excellence, so it is a bit dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. I am allergic to gluten, so there were limited options, especially desserts. The chef in the Excellence Club was outstanding and made GF French toast for me every morning. The spa was gorgeous. "
