It is very rare to find a hotel where across the board the staff are helpful and polite and greet to you with a smile when we visited the health club we were offered a tour of the facilities and the procedure for borrowing towels, robes and padlocks was clearly explained to us by a girl called Katie without us even having to ask. she was excellent! "Very nice stay with fairly basic room but comfortable. Very hot in the room but quite cold around the restaurant/bar areas. Slow bar service due to wedding guests ordering drinks. Restaurant food was very nice and great service. Lovely grounds & weather made the weekend pleasurable."
