"Amazing is an understatement. The hosts were very gracious, attentive, pleasant, informative, & over all the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The bungalow was very clean, bed was comfy and firm & necessary toiletries were provided & up kept. Even with no AC it got so cold at night that it wasn’t needed. "This hotel in nothing more than several rotted out cabins on the hill. The site says a 2 star hotel, it is not a one star by anyone's measure. If you do not have a jeep 4 wheel drive do not attempt to drive down to the hotel. We booked this and went to the hotel. The area was closed, due to volcanic activity, but since we had a reservation the police let us pass. I started down the road, stopped and walked over 800 meters to the lodge. "The spa was incredible and the views are magic. The waterfalls on the property are stunning and I loved hiking the trails for 2 hours through the dense, lush jungle on a very well maintained trail.
