"I was disappointed that the hotel charged $10 cleaning fee and $2 utility fee. This was NOT mentioned when I booked through Expedia.
Hotel was not clean. When we entered the room it smelled heavily of deodorant or air freshener and the next morning like cigarette smoke as the smell of the deodorant dissipated. Carpet wasn't vacuumed.
Front staff was pleasant but couldn't do much."

"The Comfort Inn & Suites Pottstown Eastern Gateway was, overall, on the high side of “okay” for my stay. The basic necessities were acceptable, the bed was clean and comfortable enough to sleep in, and the essential utilities in the room worked properly.
However, there were some noticeable cleanliness issues. The elevators were in need of cleaning, and the tabletops and other furniture surfaces in the room had visible residue and spotting that appeared to be from surfaces not being wiped down...
