"My husband really enjoyed our stay in Beijing. Hotel Kapok is centrally located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. About a 30-60 minute drive to PEK (depending on traffic) and 60-90 minute drive to the Great Wall Mutianyu. The hotel breakfast was really good and had a variety of options. Staff was helpful and friendly!"

The peoples park metro is opposite the hotel so easy transfer from PVG airport (Line 2 or Maglev and Line 2). Taxi's also easy from / to hotel. The hotel has a large indoor pool and and an outside decking area for Europeans wishing to sunbath. Mornings are best. "Old fashioned and very atmospheric. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Chinese decor in the rooms. Located at n a quiet Hutong alley between two main streets that are full of dining options. Recommended!"
