"Under new owner ship. Comfortable stay! Having a kitchen for community use is a big plus. There is also a very friendly restaurant and Bar on the property across the street from the Lodge Staff was very helpful with recommendations and checking on us during short power outage. "

"the cabin is beautiful, cozy and I would have loved to have stayed longer, the only details I didn't like are the heating in the house, which was cold downstairs, including in the bedroom, and upstairs it was very hot to the point of not being able to sleeping, we couldn't take a shower in the upstairs bathroom because it leaked onto the bed in the room below. the rest was perfect"

"BEWARE !! Please read before booking 1) with this rental company 2) with the travel insurance company 3) through AARP travel. We rented the Abright cabin and purchased travel insurance. They require you to pay so far in advance, it’s ridiculous ; first red flag which I regrettably ignored. The day before our rental started was the awful weather event that wiped out so much of this beautiful area. We were sure it would affect the rental but were. told to “come on! Weathers great, no problems...
