"It’s an odd property, obviously repurposed from something else but the staff was friendly and helpful, the inside was clean (there was a bit of trash on the lawn facing the Main Street but it’s a busy road so hard to maintain). The room was very nice with decent amenities. Great bathroom. The view from the room wasn’t great (faces residential neighborhoods and there was graffiti on the fence). It’s in a great location with plenty of free garage parking. The breakfast could have been better...

"Great location! What I liked was the grocery store located next to the hotel and Starbucks down below outside of the lobby. The adjacent door to the room next to ours , I could hear the people next door very clearly. We were on the 20th floor, got some great pics. The shower was great. Pleased with the facility and location."

"Place d’Armes is perfectly located across the street from Notre Dame Cathedral in quaint and charming Old Montreal. The rooms were spacious with large showers and multiple jets. Luxurious toiletries of Le Labo that made the bathroom smell like a spa. Staff were friendly yet professional and had excellent customer service. There were three restaurants (French brasserie, modern Japanese and light Mediterranean cuisine) in the hotel that were reasonably priced with good food. Be sure to dine...
