"Beautiful, big, modern room looking out over the river. Very quiet and convenient. The bath was big enough i could lay down all the way, I am 5'8". We were misinformed regarding the breakfast, if you want it a 12£ book the night before, or you're stuck paying 17£. I spoke with manager about it, she was very nice and understanding but did not reimburse us the 10£, which i found a bit cheeky. If we were back home in Montreal, they would of reimbursed us! "We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Boclair - the building is a lovely art deco style building. Very clean, great room and a lovely breakfast. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had a great chat with Brendan on the front desk and we would highly recommend the hotel. "

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "I rarely write reviews but this is a great place to stay and has a great vibe about it. The 'signature room' was very nice and the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the service was excellent. Will definitely return."

"Very conveniently located for the city centre and shopping. Nice staff, good facilities. The apartment was modern, well equipped kitchen and bathroom - perfect for us 3 guests. However on arrival there were only 2 tea bags for 3 people! It was a bit annoying having to keep asking for coffee pods. We bought our own tea bags in the end. "
