"This hotel has a great location close to Gjirokaster castle, old town and other historic attractions. It provides parking for the guests which is really ok if you traveling by car. The service and the staff are excellent hard working and professional people and very kind and helpful. "We stayed 1 night in a triple room. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also good and offered a good variety including made to order eggs. The hotel is a short walk from the old Bazaar and offers amazing views of Gjirokaster, we could see the castle from our room. "

"We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!"

"Arrived at hotel and was double charged for booking (by Expedia and front office staff) at checkin. Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room."

"Claimed not to have our booking for two rooms for two nights - not sure if them or hotels.com. Offered us one room for the three of us - not ideal, I’m convinced they did have other spare rooms. The location is ok. It wasn’t particularly clean and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Not impressed. "
