"This was our second stay on Heron Island and now that we're back home, we can't wait to come back a third time. We travel a lot but this island is one-of-a-kind! The amount of wildlife (turtles, sharks, rays, fish, dolphins, birds, ...) that you get to experience up close is absolutely special. Even if you don't dive, you're able to see all kinds of animals when snorkelling. I highly recommend to get up early and snorkel around the Jetty before breakfast. Both times, we spent 3–4 nights...

"The rooms looks old. there is a spa included in the room but need to pay extra to use it. The TV remote is not working. The car park is free but it reeks of bird poop. Who knows what disease you might get inhaling that. Otherwise, the poop is okay thought its not so clean. There is a heated spa outside in the pool area. The exit of the car park is located close to the entrance of the hotel so there is a high risk of accident especially when drivers are not paying attention to the incoming cars."

"Cabin was in a wonderful bush setting. There is a short walk to a beautiful beach. Caravan Park is well set out and clean and tidy."

"To say this stay was phenomenal would be an understatement! We weren’t sure exactly what to expect on the island before we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised by everything. Travel was very easy on the ferry with a prearranged ticket and a person to greet us on Heron Island. We were then picked up on the beach on Heron Island, where we had a fun 20 minute boat ride to Wilson. "We arrived late at night and were greated by the very kind and helpful night staff. We can only say good things about them! The first room we were assigned had a very bad smell to it (most likely from the sewage). Luckily, there was one more available room in another wing of the hotel, which was simple and clean enough. The parking lot on the premise is an advantage. We only stayed for one night which did the job but if you intend to stay longer, I guess I would look for an alternative."

"Good location close to highway for those not wanting to go all the way into Gladstone. Cabin was good just had some external damage to the outside wall that hadn't been repaired but did not impact the inside amenities which were comfortable and fit for purpose."

"Our stay in Gladstone was disappointing overall. The after-hours check-in process was complicated and not clearly communicated, which made arrival stressful. Unfortunately, the room itself was not well maintained, with a ripped chair and used dental floss left on the bathroom floor, which raised concerns about cleanliness. This property needs better attention to detail and housekeeping standards to meet basic guest expectations."
