"Easy check in/out.
Was quiet in the hotel which was good.
Room had a musky smell.
Found hairs in the bedding.
Breakfast was served by one of the M25 services stalls, which was ok, but would've preferred a buffet for more choice rather than just a full English."

"The hotel is extremely dated and is far away from being a 4 star hotel. The rooms are small, hot & stuffy. The windows didn’t open fully (safety - fair enough) and the fan provided in the wardrobe was so full of dust it wouldn’t even switch on.
Carpets throughout the hotel are old and tatty. The walls are littered with scuff marks and the floor tiles in our bathroom were all cracked.
The hotel was completely understaffed so no wonder the ones that were there were cranky & frazzled. We...

"Booked for long weekend with family. Check in was at 3pm but had to wait 2.5 for rooms to be cleaned and got access to rooms at 5:30pm. No drinks from bar no compensation offered (complained and got it later), staff were very unhelpful. Delay completely ruined break. They offered a late checkout next day as compensation so we thought we would use the pool to find that children are not allowed in the pool until late afternoon to allow club members to use the pool, awesome. "The most peaceful break I've ever had.
Staff were all a delight - super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Grounds are beautiful, surrounding greenery extremely calming and possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in."
