"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. The one stressor I had during my visit is that I am scared of spiders, and some big ones got into the room after I did. Yashodara handled this amazingly. She got them out, gave me a bug spray, and provided me with her phone number in case the spiders disturbed me in the night. (They didn't.) Definitely a nice place to stay in Habarana! The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus.
