"Very clean and in middle of the park"

"Expensive place to stay, but you’re paying for the convenient location and historical value. The grounds were immaculate and views were beautiful, a surreal oasis in the middle of the desert. We stayed in the main hotel, the room was what you see online, smaller than typical (but given the age of the hotel what you’d get), clean with some pampering goodies, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. "Fridge and A/C was so noisy. I had to unplug Fridge. Shower turn on and off handle so so hard. No fan in the bathroom to get steam out, so it smells like mold. It drained so slow that my both feet were under water. Review from Expedia was 8.0, other review was 3.5. How Expedia show bluffing. When I went to Palm Springs was like that. I will tell my friends NOT to trust Expedia Review anymore. So fake to sell the product."

"Very quaint, lovely grounds, no tv, comfy bed and great communal kitchen/living space. Great coffee in the communal area. Also, Next door to Schat’s Bakery!! Walking distance to everything Bishop has to offer. "

"The history here is incredible. Really beautiful and isolated hotel about 35-45m drive from major spots in Death Valley. We took a tour of the Opera House and hotel with Tammy who was incredible. Really loved the look and feel of the hotel."

"For a budget-priced motel, Townhouse is very nice and ideally located near the center of Bishop on Main St and very near the famous Schatz's Bakery. The lobby is a little rough looking and the staff weren't especially warm, but the room was spacious and had the amenities--a fridge, micowave and coffeemaker--I wanted. Wifi worked well. Nice pool, too. Oddly, there was no desk or table in the room (but there was a desk chair), so I ate my snacks with my knees jammed up against the console. The...

"Easy check in, quiet area and a good place to just sleep when enjoying the area. Snacks supplied in the room was a pleasant surprise. Worn building but clean enough so on point pricing. "
