"As a fan of Freddie, a stay at The Freddie Mercury when in Montreux is a must. It's campy, and fun and you can't not smile in the public areas. As a rather fussy hotel guest, I had no real issues. There isn't air conditioning, but there is some air circulation. The rooms are basic, but how much time do you plan on spending in there? "Very cute centrally located right in the heart of it all. Staff was exceptional make no mistake. It’s an older hotel but they’ve done a very good job modernizing it is great value for the money."

"Note Expedia defaults to rooms at back of property which when we stayed were very noisy late at night with people and cars until the early hours. Lakeside rooms were available but significantly more. Just remember to factor that in when making your choice."
