"I would stay there again"

"Overall, the hotel was nice, clean and very close to the train. The room was very nice. However the bathrooms are very small. The breakfast was good and they had delicious popcorn and cookies in the afternoon. Would definitely stay here again."

"I loved that when I checked in the front desk person gave me a run down of the amenities and then offered for me to pick out a record to play in my room. Very different and very cool. Really enjoyed our stay!"

"All Was well!"

"The hotel is an older facility but the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The exterior could use some improvements but.did not affect the comfort of the room."

"Their notice in the room said Oct. 1 they switch to heat mode. They did not and the room was cold. Brought it to their attention and nothing changed. Then they did provide us with a space heater on our return visit on our way home."

"Couldn’t be happier with stay, not far at all from Durango. Went all the way down New Mexico and back up, paid expensive rates for rooms not comparable to this. We loved it and we don’t gamble, just love the resort! AND so many things to look at and learn about the Ute Tribe ❤️"

Our room was smallish with a king bed, refrigerator (retro), microwave, and a pour over coffee system in the room. There is no desk and a small wicker chair if you don't want to sit on the bed. Plenty of plugs for charging. The TV system was difficult for us to operate. The location is very covenient (7 minutes...

"Staff, especially Cord, was welcoming, informative, and customer-focused. Cord was happy to answer my question. Friendly and made it feel like home away from home."

"Ev erything was great"

"The location is excellent, just 2 blocks from the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway. And it is at the south end of the historic downtown. Parking is tight, but we always managed to find a place. We did not try their breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. It rained a lot (Hurricane Polo) just prior to and during our stay. That may be the reason our ground level room smelled musty. It could have used a refresh too."

"Loved that I could bring my dog for no extra charge. However, it sounds like the policy is changing."
