"We loved our stay, beautiful clean rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I loved the big room with table, we played cards there every night ( as did others). They only thing I didn't like was the guy at check in, I had previously asked ( in an email if we could ck in a little earlier at 2:30 pm, they responded ck on the day we get there ) so I did, and the guy didn't ck to see if rooms was ready or anything, just said check in is at 3 pm... Just not a friendly ck in...

"We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. "The Wellington Cottage has so much to offer, with the number of beds, and bathrooms, and the casita. And it’s so fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! And then there’s the outdoor area with the lake view and amenities. Wonderful! Hotels.com (Expedia) caused issues with securing the property but the property owner (Aaron) was easy to work with and get the issue resolved."

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. "The stay was wonderful. We already have booked to go back in August. It was clean, everything we needed to live in the home was available. Only complaint we have is the wifi connection is very poor. But we got to spend even more family time together because our phones weren’t working . "
