"La chambre a une vue exceptionnelle sur la piscine et l’océan. Le lit est fait chaque jour mais pas d’aspirateur. Au bout d’une semaine, le sol n’est plus très propre. La baignoire présente des traces de rouillés et les flexibles de douche fuient de partout. Inacceptable pour un 4 étoiles."

"L'hotel annoncé 5 étoiles n'est pas au standard des 5 étoiles européens. C'est propre, grand et avec un bon service mais c'est quand même bien dans son jus. La piscine intérieure est très fatiguée et mérite une vraie rénovation. Le petit dej offre du choix mais avec une qualité un peu passe partout. Le gros soucis c'est le parking qui est annoncé à l"hotel mais qui est minuscule et donc nous n'avons quasiment jamais réussi à avoir une place et on a du se débrouiller pour se garer dans la rue. "Big hotel. Big rooms. Great pools. Modern, with conference style feel. Remarkable buffet, no need to go up the road and pay extra. Chocolate fountain on two nights. No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "

"Lovely weekend at Monte Carlo hotel, for flower festival and hiking. Marcia on reception was very helpful and polite with advice. Steep walk up to hotel but lovely views from terrace and hotel once there. Would stay again. Thanks"
