"Phenomenal new hotel, great location walking distance from everything in town, they have lots of great inclusions with lots of attention to small details that makes all the difference for e.g. T2 teas, milk lab milks, St Ali coffee, $35 per person of vouchers to use for brekky at the cafe downstairs, the ability to order ice buckets free on demand from the virtual minibar. Will definitely be back next time we are in Newcastle."

"Noah’s sits on a bluff above Newcastle Beach. There is nothing like watching the ocean rollers coming in and most of the time a dozen or more surfers taking their rides. Breakfast is typical English style breakfast with an Aussie twist, lamb sausages for instance. When my flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the staff immediately helped me figure out what to do. I’ll stay here again."

"Very clean room, with all we required. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had Happy Hour drinks and a nice meal. The outside dining/drinks area is lovely with heaters and water views. Would have loved a swim in the pool if it hadn’t been winter!"

"Very disappointed with this hotel. TV did not work. Tablet rebooted every time placed in docking station despite being powered down. Light & fan in bathroom on auto for 5 minutes even if just walking past & not entering. Very frustrating in middle of night. Needs soundproofing. Despite being on 6th floor we could hear lots of street noise. Very disturbed night. Bar closed at 9pm just as theatre finished. Would not stay again."

"This Ibis hotel is alot more old / worn out compared to the other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. The hallways and room Carpets and walls has been better day. The room is clean. Has everything you need. For 1 night stay it is ok. Main Street is not a nice but surrounding areas is ok and easy to get around."

"Apartment was centrally located situated amongst many wining and dining establishments. The small gym was surprisingly well equipped. Our room facing onto Darby St with an enclosed balcony was very dark. Sound proofing adequate. Walls and tiles in balcony area black. Inside the apartment the carpet almost black and black tiles in the kitchen. Although this helps with disguising wear and tear it was a bit depressing. The furnishings were of good quality. "Check in took forever for them to find a key, the blanket on the Queen bed had what I *hope* was a thick chocolate stain. There was a melted lolly(?) on the floor that I only saw when I stepped in it, and a cockroach on the wall during the night that I had to kill. And the smells! The room had a terrible odour, and the spray fragrance in the hallway was so strong I literally had to breath through my jumper when leaving the room at all. Stayed for a stopover from Melbourne to Brisbane, very glad...
