"Right from the friendly welcome by Tom, my stay was fantastic. I was travelling myself with 2 young children for a family funeral in the area. All the staff were friendly and very good with the children. They were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We enjoyed a meal in the evening. Good choice for adults and children. We also all enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. "

"I booked this last minute as our other booking cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for a nearby wedding. Wow this is a gorgeous place. Everything from organising an early check in for us to the lovely breakfast the next day was amazing. Our room was like a suite with a lovely super king bed and the bathroom was also massive. For the price you pay it’s such a good deal and we will be returning and might book the golf or evening meal as add ons. "

"From entering the beautiful stone entrance hall into the great hall we knew we were in for a treat. "We had a first class break over Christmas, nothing was too much trouble for Michael,the owner, the room was very clean and cosy. Lovely bathroom,eco friendly shampoo etc. Breakfast was plentiful, could only manage a small one!! Would recommend Farne Island B and B. A big thank you to Michael! "

"Both of our hosts made us very welcome and put themselves out to check on evening activities in sorrounding areas for my 11 year old granddaughter. The ensuite family room was beautiful with coffee .tea and bottled water and biscuits. Breakfast also excellent choices.. Will stay again."

"The pink room is spacious and very well furnished. Everything was provided. There was even a view towards Bamburgh Castle which was a bonus. We were very impressed with the whole of the property. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was of an excellent standard. We will definately be reurning for a longer stay. We would recommend Railston House unreservedly."
