Continental Breakfast very basic, not much of a food selection. If I could of re-booked I would of stayed somewhere else."

"Warned by two different locals, one being a law enforcement, not to stay here. It wasn’t named correctly. Some sketchy people around the site. We didn’t stay here so I don’t know if it was clean or if the staff were nice. We were advised to go to Warrensburg or Sedalia."

"This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return."

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ceiling had cracks in it and along the outside wall there was black areas at the top where the ceiling meet the wall. The breakfast was considered continental but was very limited and the coffee was from a dispensing machine. The staff was very kind and helpful."

"I don’t have enough good things to say about this property. The rooms are very well cleaned and adequately maintained, despite it being an older property. The exterior is super cute and there are accommodating areas to gather, including a fire pit. It’s very quiet. The best thing about it is the manager. She is an absolute doll. "The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! "
