"We were looking for a quiet and tranquil location and this is it. Wonderful views from the magnificant gardens which surround the tastefully restored monastery. The exterior and interior have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard and our room was perfect. Yet the main contribution to our stay was the warmth and oustanding service that we received from the whole service team. We loved this hotel; we have travelled all around Europe and feel this is the best we have stayed in."

"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast...

"O local é incrível!!!! Os quartos são confortáveis e a vista é maravilhosa!
O café da manhã é servido na mesa, no primeiro dia tivemos um pequeno problema, pois nos trouxeram apenas bolo, pera e capuccino, a atendente não nos deu as opções que tínhamos para pedir, resumindo, não como bolo e fiquei com fome. No dia seguinte fui questionando as opções do cardápio, pois li nos comentários aqui que era bem variado. Após questionar nos trouxera frios, pães, manteiga e suco, tudo estava delicioso!...

"Excellent staff. They went above and beyond. Someone in our party was ill and they suggested they would call a doctor and he would come to the resort. Within an hour the Dr arrived assessed situation provided prescription so our vacation was not disrupted. Excellent. "
