"When we walked into our room there was a large dead water bug on the floor at the entrance. There were blood stains on the sheets. You could feel the springs on both beds. The room had an electrical problem and the lights kept flickering. My daughter plugged in her phone charger, it sparked so we immediately removed it. When speaking with the desk about the blood nothing was done about it. No room services was even sent that afternoon. We ended up checking out prior to our second day of stay....

"Friendly staff informed us of free golf cart rides almost to the A’s ballpark-just had to walk across the River bridge to the field! Wonderful views of the state capitol on the ride! Rooftop pool & bar were beautiful; drink & food specials, delicious, and the music, GREAT! Restaurants and shops in DOCO area were right out the back door! Good coffee in the lobby while waiting for our car was enjoyable!"

"The facility was fine. They seemed short staffed with lines waiting to be checked in and the front desk unmanned when we needed help with the TV not working. No free breakfast. The bistro food was fine especially the chicken wings. Hot tub and pool nice."

"Rooms are small and very overpriced for the size and amenities. The Sea Lions are on the dock across the river and bark all night long. The hotel does provide ear plugs but they don’t help much and the constant barking kept us up all night. The drinks are overpriced at $12 for a well drink. They give you vouchers for 2 drinks but it is limited to beer and house wine. If you want to stay on a 100 year old riverboat this is the place to do it but I wouldn’t recommend multiple nights. Your money...

"Great property, clean room, historic facility. The restaurant was terrific! Central location, near the capitol made a walk around interesting and full of interest."

"Horrible experience. The room was extremely dirty upon arrival. The sheets had hair all over them and even visible shoe marks, which was unacceptable. I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, but I was informed that no other rooms were available. The staff provided clean sheets after I requested them, but overall, the room's cleanliness and condition were very disappointing. I would not stay here again. Not a safe area and nothing like the pictures on Expedia."

"Paid extra and reserved king bed room choice however we were given a queen with no refund for the extra - we were told there was no guarantee of room choice when reservation made through Expedia!!! I have traveled and booked through 3rd party for 40 years and never encountered this issue!!!!"
