"Each room has a balcony that looks over the water . It is beautiful and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. We did have a couple of issues- the chairs on our deck were both broken but they replaced them right away. There is no elevator to the upstairs rooms. We carried our bags upstairs but they do offer to carry them for you. Anyone with difficulty going up and down stairs needs to stay on the entry level floor (floor2)."

"We picked this spot for location, and because it has dog friendly rooms, and did expect it to be basic for the room. It was basic but met our needs. I appreciated the fridge and microwave and heat pump since it was so warm outside. The one improvement would be the towels, they were thin, so thin that when I dried my back in my normal way, it tore the edge of the towel."

When we arrived, the host that checked us in was extremely outgoing and friendly. Once she explained everything and left, I called to ask if they had a corkscrew for our wine as we forgot to bring one. She returned to the premises from her way home and brought it to the room. "The Montague Rose Inn run by Zainub and Ben Faulkner-Malik is an absolute gem. The house is a gracious and welcoming treasure.
