"Friendly, helpful staff and an overall lovely experience!"

"There was no phone, even to the front desk. TheDirectv was horrible. Bath/shower plumbing was difficult to deal with. Was not informed a new roof was going to be installed in the morning. Pounding early in the morning about gave me a heart attack!!"

"The property is very convient to the area resteraunts and stores. It is alos conveinient to the sunshine Fairgrounds. The staff were super helpful and friendly. My room needed minor maintainance while I was there and that was done immediately with no fuss. The only issue I had was that the rooms could use a " facelift". Also the coffee machine in the breakfast area makes terrible coffee. There's a machine in the room however, which makes great coffe, you just need to get cream and sugar...

"Checking in took longer than expected"

"The place is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but parking is a pain. They need to paint lines. The instructions they give are to "park diagonally" but without lines in the tight parking area, people park like idiots and if you are last in, you'll have to park elsewhere. Both nights I stayed, I couldn't park in front of my unit because people park all over the place or even across 2-3 units. Everything else was fine."

"It was kind of scary when I drove up, but the hippie at the desk was friendly and helpful. The lobby, stairs, and hall were kind of shabby, but clean. The room itself was FAR exceeded my expectations. It was clean, everything worked, bed, bedding, towels and pillows were all of good quality, and comfortable. I didn’t look at the breakfast on offer, so I have no opinion on that. Overall I would stay there again. Don’t judge a book by the cover."

"Most everything was fine. Strong smell of Marijuana upon entering the Hotel. Waffle batter kept air locking so no batter would come out. The person on the desk was somewhat helpful, he kept coming out to loosen the cap, but then screwed it back on so tight that after one serving it would air lock again. they only had 6" plates out and a 8" waffle does not fit on it well. No bagel slicer. Was told to use a plastic knife. On the plus side the room was clean and the staff was courteous."

"Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home."
