"Lovely big rooms staff were great and amazing breakfast!!"

"Lovely stay in an old quaint farm house. The room was small with two single beds (not our preference but it is what was available). The private bathroom was modern and very nice. Nigel and his wife are delightful and intelligent. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It is a bit hard to find off a high speed road but relaxing and quiet once you get there. The donkeys are adorable! We would highly recommend a stay there."

"From the welcome to the time we left the Mill everything was perfect. The peaceful location, the spacious and comfortable double room with balcony, (cleaned every day and chocolate snack pot refilled), the high spec bathroom the added little thoughtful extras, (fresh milk everyday in the room and bottles of water). The mill itself in a lovely setting with alpacas grazing outside. Helen and Matt, amazing hosts, giving gems of information about places to go (Pemberton Park a definite), but...

"Absolutely amazing hotel and staff. They went above and beyond to make my elderly parents stay easy and safe. Beautiful room with fab view and definitely worth the money, breakfast was great with loads of options even for my mum who has multiple food allergies."

"This is was my third stay here and the location"

"We didn't stay at the property, as when we entered the 4th floor bedroom it was really hot. the window was open to its 3 inch extent, and there was a tower fan, that had little effect on the heat . The reception staff said that none of the rooms had working air conditioning, so we couldn't change rooms. We decided to leave and find alternative accomodation."

"Great location. Quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff"

"I was in the building adjacent to the pub and my room faced the fields - what a view! I had a double room and it was very clean and spacious, although a small bit of feedback, I think the carpets could do with a clean soon but everything else was great. The receptionist checking me in was so friendly. The breakfast was so tasty, the bacon and sausage were thick and chunky, really good quality. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly and I loved how everything was locally sourced...

"Our hosts were very helpful with local area of interest. Castles, walks, cafes and pubs. They were extremely accommodating and always on call."

"The 1-min walk from the train station is the hotel's best feature - super convenient. Staff are friendly. The downside is the dated facilities. There is no air conditioning, and only a fan is available. It was fine when we visited though, as the weather was cool. You can store the luggage there for free when you check out, which was nice for me"

"We visited the area to meet up with family. The price we paid on Expedia was great and not dissimilar to that for Premier Inn/Travelodge, which we would normally have used. I would say that the hotel previously was 4-star, but I wouldn't say it was 4-star today. The room was clean and staff welcoming. Parts of look like it needed attention. But there was some scaffolding up and the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, so they're possibly making some improvements. Only one of the two lifts...

"Reception staff were excellent. TV in room didn’t work. Pool area was very clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but service in the evening wasn’t very good, no cutlery, no salt on the table, getting staff attention was hard work but appreciate there was training of new staff."
