"We checked-in to suite at Cinnamon life City of Dreams for two nights on our vacation. Cleanliness in the suite was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and a very quite atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide spead. The pool was very clean and the pool staff was great. The Butler Service assigned for our suite was excellent too."

"A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Yasiru in the dining room is one of the greatest wait staff ever. It’s always touching to be remembered by name and he nailed it every time. I especially like the way they have a cat house for the three cats they look after at the property. The two younger cats (Pinot and Noir) are very friendly. When looking for a place that has high standards in Colombo the Taj will meet your expectations every time."

"It's a beautiful 5-star property, centrally located, on the ocean, with a history of over 160 years, with excellent amenities, including salt water swimming pool, gym, and restaurant, where royalty, prime ministers, presidents, movie stars, and celebrities have stayed over the years. It's highly recommended."

"Just wow. Had a chance to speak with the owner, since he is on site and manages the property. This is his family home, turned into a boutique hotel. He and his staff take care of it as though they all live there and it’s their home, and you are their royal guest. Drinks and lunch upon arrival, and the food was the best food we had up to this date on our trip. Authentic, tasty, and made to order. The rooms were gorgeous. Kind of a mothball smell in our room, but outside of that, just incredible....
