"Great value! Not much in the way of amenities, however the quality of the space and service exceeded my expectations. I will stay there again. Limited array of breakfast options was adequate and sufficient despite 'tight' the seating area. Enlarging the space is recommended. But overall, I was satisfied with limited expectations on a business trip."

"Newly renovated rooms and hotel with breakfast and a pool helped us select this hotel in Brockville. Location is great, and renovations are certainly underway, but not complete. The front office is in a guest room temporarily and the main floor is in full renovation mode. Our room was well appointed and very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful, however, clearly understaffed at the moment with the additional needs and changes for guests. Thankfully the pool remained open and the breakfast...

"Second night stay, room smelled like sewage. Got a second room and bathroom had sewage smell. The gym equipment is broken and barely works. Cables snapped off. Should Not advertise fitness room If the equipment doesn’t work or isn’t maintained. Staff was excellent and food is good. Would stay again but prefer rooms that smell good. "

"This property has an excellent location directly on the St. Lawrence River. Our room had a partial river view, as did the breakfast room. There is also a boardwalk that can be used by all guests. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast included homemade muffins, as well as a range of hot and cold items. "

"The room was really clean however there was a lack of hot water for a shower at night and in the morning and bugs in the hot tub when we tried to use it at night other than that it was an excellent getaway nice warm fireplace nice shower and being downtown near restraints museums and the waterfront made everything within walking distance overall I would gladly go back again probably will in the near future"

"Brockville Best Western was a good experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The building has been recently purchased, so the u[grades are still being done. The rooms are clean (no bugs) and well supplied."

"This a sadly neglected gorgeous old building. It felt like staying at someone's grandma's house. Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location. "

"We stayed here from Friday to Monday while attending a nearby competition. Everything was walking distance (restaurants, park, grocery store, pharmacy, theatre). The host made sure we had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with snacks, breakfast items, coffee/tea and water. There was even a deck on the back that we could sit on and blankets to use if we got cold. The bedroom was very clean and cozy. There was a mini fridge fully stocked with water juice yogurt milk, etc."

"This was hands down the coolest place we have ever stayed! A converted primary school in to a bed and breakfast. The rooms are MASSIVE! The beds were heavenly. Every detail was thought through. The hosts were welcoming and so knowledgeable about the area’s history. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you are in the area this is a must stay. So different from anything else. Can’t recommend enough! "

"Very disappointing stay. Check-in was listed as 2 PM but we were told 4 PM and had to wait in the parking lot for nearly two hours. The first room was dirty with unmade beds, and the second room was also poorly cleaned (dirty bathroom, wrinkled sheets, surfaces not properly cleaned). The steps to the parking area were also a fall hazard. The only positive was the kind check-in staff, but overall cleanliness, safety, and communication were unacceptable. Would not return."

"Great for place to sleep and workout great for us, but there isn’t anything walkable if you are hoping to go out. A plus was that there was EV charging at the school next door. "
