"House is amazing and roomy"

"Clean property but over priced. Staff were kinda clueless. Grounds are very nice. Worse meal I've ever been served at a high end restaurant. Totally inedible. Capresse chicken dish; chicken was tough and stringy, the fingerling potatoes seemed like they were prepared weeks ago, frozen and reheated. Tasted and texture of cardboard. Carrots (3 littlepieces) were good. The tomato brousetta tasted like acid. Complained and meal was comped. I can't believe that kitchen staff could serve such awful...

"Lake was beautiful as usual. The staff was exceptional - always helpful and friendly. Overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and felt very safe and relaxing. Breakfast was good - very good fresh fruit salad and yogurt bar and assorted breakfast drinks and make your own waffles (though if they could include chocolate chips as a topping and cinnamon it would make it even better). "Huge thank you; the staff was so helpful with information and guidance on where to eat and how to navigate the town. Just a few items worth mentioning: it's a basic room, no fancy fixtures. The lamp between the two queen-size beds didn't work, which wasn't a problem because of the overhead light. Some items need updating. "The hotel was clean but needs updating. It felt a little like a time warp to 1996. The breakfast offerings were varied enough but the food was school-cafeteria quality at best. The staff was elusive. The in-hotel restaurant was fine but way over-priced."
