"I found it annoying that my internet connection was so complicated to set up. Other hotels just have a password code. Easy. I also could not watch any TV without having to join a streaming service. Other hotels offer this for free to watch cable. A manual or directive instructing clientele on paper/ laminated would be helpful as the older generation do not all have smart phones and are lost as we can’t view hotel instructions via phone. "Peaceful and whimsical stay in a historic inn. The breakfast was delicious (served with the best local maple syrup) and location was a 5 minute drive to the downtown area."

"The price is right. The property is not maintained well. It wouldn’t take much effort to improve it - tidy up and mow/weed wack. The staff was very nice and explained things well. The room was clean and the bathroom was remodeled. The air conditioner worked well. The town is a great place to find food, shops, and history - very quaint."

"This was the second time I’ve stayed at this location, first time under New Englander Inn name. Both times I was impressed by how clean and organized the breakfast area was. A staff member was constantly in and out cleaning up and restocking the breakfast items."

"Rooms were clean and staff was helpful, however, atmosphere felt like Section 8 housing. Smoking was done right outside my room and I was watched constantly by people from their rooms. There were no cars in the parking lot, but many arguments there during daylight hours. Not a comfortable place overall."

"Two things can improved: 1). The bathroom needs to be renovated. It has a dirty look. 2). The security alarm was beeping irritatingly all the first night. This prevented us from getting anywhere near a good night sleep. I did not find the owner very responsive. He said someone would be there by 4 PM the next day"
