"In the middle of the UK heatwave and all we got was a fan that couldn't even cool the room down if he tried. Windows were only possible to be open 1/4 and two didn't stay up at all. Front Desk told us to prob a book under it. No cold water from faucet either, we were suggested to be brought up a bucket of ice to put in front of the fan. Checked out early the same day as it was miserablely hot in the room"

"DON'T GO THERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place shouldn't even exist, the place feels very unsafe (there were drunk people in the "lobby" and no one at the reception and they started straight away talking to us in a manner that did not make us feel welcomed nor safe). Then the receptionist told us that because they had over booked they were going to give us a twin instead of a double, as if that was our fault. The lock room did not work and I had to move the bedside table at the door...

"A warm welcome, and a good location, close to the main railway station, but also close to the Harbour. The breakfast was good, the staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were incredibly helpful and the leisure facilities were all working well. Last but not least, the soft play area is a great amenity for families with toddlers. Definitely recommend. Thank you."

"An unusual hotel, as the reception is on the second floor but it’s in a great location, the room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable."

"Great hotel - great location steps away from the Central Cardiff train station and St Marys Street (pub central). Would stay again next time we are in Cardiff. The shower felt like a water fall - loved it."

"it was so lovely but i think on the off chance ive woke up from my sleep covered in itchy bites/spots on my body. my partner was fine so i dont think it was anything serious but please be mindful if allergic to dust or anything to take antihistamines before your stay if you’re prone to them like me. put a little downer on my stay as have come here before and have never experienced this, staff were very apologetic and assured me they would inform house keeping about it though"

"Really, really disappointing that hotel guests have to pay, in addition to the room fee, to use the hotel swimming pool (5 British pounds/ person)!! During the weekend there was a good children’s area set up near the lobby with movies, Lego and games."
