"We loved the hotel and its location. Our rm #7 was great with its nice bathroom and terrific deck with lounge chairs. We had an outstanding meal at their restaurant, Blue, and a terrific snack of sushi and oysters at The Oyster Lounge. Highly recommend Tje Abalone!"

To top it off it was the clearest night sky filled with more stars than I’ve ever seen and breakfast delivered to the tent in the morning was a lovely touch. "Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away....

"We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning .
