"Great location in Spiez. It’s about a 7 min walk from the train station. This is a small hotel with basic rooms. I would recommend staying in a lake view room. The “comfort” room I stayed in faced the street which can be loud. Fortunately, the windows really help block the outside noise. This hotel does not have AC so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the warm weather months. The terrace has a great view of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast there. "The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
