"Super clean room. Great sleep"

"The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the poolside restaurant struggled with the dinner crowd. It took 30 mins after we sat down for staff to approach us for our drinks and order. We were in the restaurant for over an hour before we received our food. The food was delicious once it arrived but the wait was ridiculous. I would stay here again but would probably find somewhere else to eat."

"Amazing property, such helpful and hospitable staff and the breakfast and food (two dinners we at the restaurant) was excellent! Just a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach. Very relaxing stay!"

"The building of the hotel has an old fashion Costa Rican vibe, room is clean and basic. Like the garden and the pool. No elevator though. The breakfast was made by a lovely lady in the kitchen right beside the lobby, that give me a feeling of visiting a friend’s home."

"The workers were great, friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly small, we had the room with two twin beds. The space between the beds was about a foot. Two people could not stand in that space. Incredibly difficult for two people to maneuver around in."

"This is a great hotel right on the beach with great staff. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, a great location, the staff is wonderful and the restaurant is great too. The beach is calm enough to swim. There is a small grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. It’s a boutique hotel, so it never feels too busy."

"While the proximity to the beach was as advertised, the hotel and pool portion of the cafe were run down and not inline with our expectations for the price. There were loud workers talking outside our door at 4am, the construction next door wafter fire smoke into the room and onto the property at night and in the morning. Giant 4" spider found in the bathroom."

"I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. My family and I booked a 4-night stay and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked into the room, there were serious cleanliness and health concerns. There was visible mold on the pillows and throughout the room, the sheets appeared dirty and stained, and the bathroom was filthy and clearly had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. "The bed was not good as it is very soft and older. Rest all is well, kitchen has no salt etc so you need to buy all from scratch to cook but they have all utensils."

"Hotel d’escale pour nous. Situe entre deux grandes surfaces. Piscine un peu vieillissante. Type un peu motel américain avec des escales pour les routiers. En bord de route. Petit déjeuner et restaurant le soir à l’hôtel partenaire à côté . Très bon. Attention on parle un peu moins anglais dans la region( notamment le soir au restaurant. Conditions de voyage: hors saison"
