"The staff were so pleasant and helpful Breakfast had a good choice The room was clean overlooked the beach and had comfortable chairs. The only thing that let the room down was the mattress which was made of memory foam and was uncomfortable"
"Had a truly lovely stay at the Trevelyan in Douglas - received a lovely welcome from Delia upon arrival; had a promenade / beachfront view from my 3rd floor room. Comfortable bed. No problems at all with the shared bathroom facilities either. What I would suggest though, is for basic tea/coffee facilities being provided to guests - either directly in their rooms, or at a central location (for example, in the common area on the ground floor). Thank very much once again !"
"The photographs on the web-site give a good idea of the rooms and the hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. It is lovely to have fried bread at breakfast. Bonzai is a great Pan-Asian restaurant. "
"This property is very dated, 60s flat roof etc and looks dreadful from the exterior. Paint peeling, signs losing paint, very unattractive entrance from the main road shared with a continental restaurant. Grubby carpets and decor around the entrance and reception areas. Room good with dated decor but very clean but balconies grubby. Nice carvery and decent breakfast. Basically a worn out buiding but a little effort and decor could make a big difference. "
"Room was adequate. Small but fine. Staff great and very pleasant. Breakfast. Full english. . Sausages hash brown bacon quality cheap. . Overall breakfast lets hotel down badly. No sea view. Would look elsewhere for accommodation on return "
