"The elevator doesn’t work and my husband was trapped in it as soon as we arrived. The gym was unusable as it was under water. There is nothing close by in terms of groceries, the Walmart is closest but would be a 25 minute walk and do not recommend it. The appliances worked but all the cupboards smelled strong like vinegar. The safe didn’t work and the door code didn’t work and when we locked the door it still banged around because it didn’t fit properly. The pool was nothing special at all. The...

"We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday at Secrets! Lovely resort with so many amenities for our comfort. The staff is very attentive and the property was well kept. The only concern was the mosquitoes, they ate us alive through the night. I’d advise bringing insect repellents.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time. If you’re looking for a young crowd with more of a party scene, keep looking. This property is tailored to the senior population visiting for their anniversaries, from the music to...

"I was amazed at how helpful the staff was and courteous. It was very clean and delicious food. The rooms were nice. It was in a central location where you could either go on excursions in a tour or on your own. Both were quite good. I especially remember the Porterl Luis I was very helpful and kind. They have a store very close by and the people in there were very courteous and helpful. Also, I had an excellent time. It was peaceful yet there was things you can do. I will go again."
