(I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. "

"We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. We were honestly just looking for a cheap place to lay our heads for the night on a long trip home. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again."

"The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. "
