"An excellent apartment both in location and cleanliness. A small but very useful kitchen and good sized refrigerator made the stay very easy. Ghent is a city undergoing a lot of building and street rehabilitation so be prepared for the early morning construction sounds. However, the apartment is pretty quiet. A great choice."

My only issue was that there was basically no air conditioning, and the rooms rely on open windows. It was fine during my visit, but I could see it getting very hot in warmer weather. Other than that, I would recommend staying here."

"This hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast, and is in a beautiful historic building that is in a walkable location. There are no staff on site except at breakfast, so communication is restricted to the Expedia message center or the phone number provided by the location inside the front door. There is no elevator (which we knew), so take this into account if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. "What a wonderful stay near the heart of Ghent! Just enough blocks away to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to do all the touristy things like sightseeing, shopping, and tasting wonderful foods! Staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was spot on each day! I highly recommend!"

"Beautiful building and excellent room, it felt like a dream. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside we experienced was the insulation was not great, and we could hear music for a long time in the night."

"This hotel was lovely. The communal areas are very pleasant to sit in, clean and spacious. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was great too! Being British, we would have liked a few tea bags, but this is hardly a big deal. If you opt out of having your room cleaned one day, you get a free drink at the bar for being eco friendly I guess, which is a nice touch. Overall we had a fab time here!"
