"There was no signage for the car park as it was through a narrow gap behind the hotel. I was given the key to the room, which I was told was through a door to the right of reception. On going through the door I found I was outside in the poring rain with again no signage. I went back into the hotel ..."

"It’s been 10 years since our last stay, as good as ever. Friendly staff, beautiful room, quiet, lovely bar & tasty plentiful breakfast. Everything you could wish for & on top of that a bottle of Prosecco & chocolate in our room for our anniversary. Perfect stay"

"Extremely disappointed as nothing reflects the online photos. Very dated rooms with dirt overall. Cleanliness concerning, service below minimum standards. Breakfast was a buffet selection with basic items missing and very poor quality."
