"Un peu surprenant, une chambre avec 2 lits 2 places. Mais pas de salle de bain. Une toilette et une douche dans un petit carré dans la cour interne. À partager avec le reste des personnes. C’est très mal isolé donc il fait très très froid quand on prend la douche. Pour un petit budget pourquoi pas mais c’est très loin du centre. Ce n’est pas extraordinaire mais disons que pour y dormir ça fait l’affaire."

"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. There website needs updating urgently because directions to the hotel are wrong and confusing. There also needs to be a direct number to the Stag because at the moment if you phone the number on the website it puts you through to a hotel in Bournemouth where staff cannot help you or give you information about directions or any other help."

"Good location but very limited evening bus service from the airport. The 308 arrives at the airport from Great Dunmow at about 21.20 and returns immediately to Takeley, before going out of service. My driver was prepared to take me to Takeley Street / Stansted Airport Lodge as it was on her way back to the depot. This bus isn't shown on any of the airport timetables."

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. "Very central location, overlooking Parker’s Piece in Cambridge. Nearby parking in the multi storey was convenient and cheap. Room was clean and the ensuite was a ‘must have’ for us. "

"We had a great stay here at the weekend. We were only there one night as we had a wedding to attend nearby. The staff are brilliant, so helpful and friendly even let us check-in early. Room was perfect. Car parking so easy. Shame we couldn’t have spent longer there. Would definitely use again if in Cambridge. "

"Nice very remote location, pub very nice, room however had issues, door handle came off, shower tray stained and dirty, dressing table and bedside tables very sticky, fan had the front missing so not usable, room not ready at 3.00. Needs TLC to make it worth the price charged."
