"Staff"

"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....

"Beautiful location. The staff was very kind and helpful."

"Staff was great!"

"The room was very clean and quite large. Main things that were a big drawback, they run the heat on and off, so 3am woke up freezing and had to wait for heat to run again at like 6am. There is no elevator."

"Location wise this place was perfect, especially for the price point. It’s older so the amenities are a little outdated but we weren’t bothered (our bathroom was recently updated so that was a bonus). No onsite parking but seems the whole town parks at the community centre for no charge (about a 3 min walk from hotel). The pillows were horrible though so be warned."

"Have nothing bad to say. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not be friendlier. The breakfast was amazing!!"

"The cottage had everything we needed, enjoyed a beautiful view. "

"Atholl House was great for ourcrecent stay on the Isle of Skye. Initially I was disappointed we could not find a room in Portree but after visiting Atholl House I actually preferred it. There are several hood restaurants nearby, a beautiful view. Close to certain things we wantedvto explore. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the person serving was very friendly and helpful. As with many of the places we stayed there was rarely...

"A great spot to spend a couple of nights and explore Skye from. Would definitely recommend."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay and the property is in a great location, close to all the restaurants and shops. The view from our room was beautiful. The bathroom could use some updating but other than that it was a great value."

"I wish we stayed longer. It was exactly what we were looking for our trip to Skye. Great hosts and lovely views. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay longer next time. 2 nights simply was not enough."
