"Perfect for a two night stay. Comfortable room with a good breakfast."

"No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience."

"A good option for a family visiting Durham University or, as we did, attending a graduation ceremony. Only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Durham, but cheaper than staying centrally in Durham. Friendly staff, good full English breakfast. We had a room that slept 4 people, which looked relatively recently renovated with ensuite shower and toilet. Shower was good."

"Kaye was communicative and lovely. Her home is a calming respite for busy travelers. The outdoor space is spacious and beautiful, with friendly horses nearby. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the room was very clean. My Way Guesthouse is a very good value."

"We arrived to be told they were closing the next day so no breakfast was on offer (had money deducted) however on entering the room it was obvious the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned for a while as I had to get rid of A LOT of cobweb’s throughout the room and there were a lot of dead bugs on the window sill - the next morning I discovered there were no teabags and no staff around to ask. Not great front of house or customer care"
