very small elevator

The minibar was dirty. The room is cold. The aircondition doesnt work. The elevator is super small and not comfortable. You cannot go into the elevator with stroller or a bid suitcase. The location is good.

Wij hadden de grote suite geboekt, veel ruimte alleen een kleine badkamer. Beetje gedateerd. Wegens Covid-19 krijg je een ontbijt box voor op de kamer.

Zentral, aber zeitweise sehr laute Umgebung

Das war unser erster Aufenthalt im BURNS Art Hotel. Gebucht war die Suite. Vom Platz her vollkommen OK. Der Balkon war leider durch den Besuch der Tauben etwas dreckig stellenweise. Bei Kurzaufenthalten wird aktuell nicht gereinigt - wenn man Nachschub benötigt, muss man zur Rezeption. Hotel ist zentral gelegen - man erreicht den HBF zu Fuß und die Altstadt. Leider durch den Verkehr sehr laut. Wir hatten auch bis 3 Uhr morgens lautes Partyvolk unter dem Schlafzimmer. Da war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.

Rude & arrogant owner and staff

The service was not pleasant. We came to Germany from Canada and stayed at several hotels prior to this one. This hotel was the only one to approach me during their continental breakfast to advise I wasn't meeting the "dress code". For breakfast.. with only 1 other couple in the room. The manager came down while I was mid meal and asked me to change into something more presentable and return to eat (she was presumably called by kitchen staff, who gawked at me as though they had never seen Victoria's secret silk pyjamas). I was terribly embarrassed. This hotel is no Fairmont and I was quite put together, with my hair and face put together. To interrupt me in the middle of my meal, tucked away in the very corner of the breakfast area and out of sight, was humiliating. They didn't charge me for breakfast, but the experience was belittling.There were also dust mites beside the night stand in the bedroom, but otherwise clean.

Der Parkplatz war leider schon reserviert, aber man sagte uns das es der gleiche Preis wäre, wenn man in anderen Parkhäusern parkt. Und dies stimmt so wohl überhaupt nicht!

quick weekend trip.

The hotel was perfect. It was exactly what my son and I needed for our quick trip to Düsseldorf. We took the train from the airport and it was a 10 min walk from the main train station. The staff was helpful and gave us directions on where to go and what to see. Day 2 the front desk gave us excellent directions to an adventure to a castle. The location is good for restaurants and sightseeing. We will be back.

Weekend in Düsseldorf

Wir hatten eine super geräumige Suite und fühlten uns darin sehr wohl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage super zentral. Kann man auf alle Fälle wieder buchen. Vom Hauptbahnhof gut in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und nur einen kurzen Marsch zur KÖ. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder zu Besuch kommen.
