Everything is right downstairs in the pub/restaurant or right outside the door in the quaint neighborhood. This is a great place in the heart of a fun and friendly town. Loved it."

"Clean, nice rooms. Parking is in the castle pay lot which was a bit confusing when first arriving, but weekends are free to park there. The restaurant next door offers a 15% discount for staying at the rooms and the firecastle café offers a 10% discount and makes the most delicious pastries! We would definitely stay again!"

"The property was clean and well maintained. Parking was initially a problem. Location was pretty close to downtown activities… Reception staff was inexperienced and failed to communicate a few things. Continental breakfast was okay. Appreciated the gluten free options."

"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."
