"Rooms small. Beds on rollers so they move when nudged. Bathroom tiny with water collecting all over the floor when showering; curtain sticks to u; forced to shut the door by mgt as it sets the smoke alarm and warned at check in of an $1800 fine if the fire brigade comes. Pub next door has a DJ on for 6 hours on Fri/Sat overnight - no sleep. Never again."

"The location of this hotel was great - across from the beach and next to nice bars and restaurants. Nice size room, with adequate furniture. Bed linen good, appliances in the room good. However, the shower leaked terribly and bathtub was in need of replacement. Mostly what I was not happy with was the attitude of the staff. I complained about the chilliness of the pool water and the manager retorted "You are in the tropics now". I live in Brisbane, Queensland. Maybe he thought I came from...

"Our stay was an overnight before an early flight. The hotel was spacious and clean. The king bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful."

"The pool is shaded from the biggest building in Brisbane. Yes you get sun till 11 am in May but after that you need to relocate to a park for the sun. It’s an old hotel and has beer spilt smell in main hallway but otherwise good value."

"Noah’s sits on a bluff above Newcastle Beach. There is nothing like watching the ocean rollers coming in and most of the time a dozen or more surfers taking their rides. Breakfast is typical English style breakfast with an Aussie twist, lamb sausages for instance. When my flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the staff immediately helped me figure out what to do. I’ll stay here again."
