"We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again. "

"First time booking and I am really looking forward to book again. The room is really comfortable and I was welcomed with a great cinnamon bun. Breakfast is great, with wonderful pastry. "We enjoyed our stay at the Durham House Hotel. Communication was great from the moment it was booked to the arrival day. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, car park, places to eat and drink. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with large soft towels provided. Lovely choice for breakfast, good quality food and nicely cooked."

"Lovely place, just out of the town centre. Craig was really welcoming on arrival. I stayed in the Oak room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a nice big bathroom area with a rainfall walk in shower. Free parking was off the road in front of the building. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect for the weekend away."

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"What an absolute find this B&B is, Lisa & Dean are really warm, and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, fantastic breakfasts and evening meals, a lot of little extra touches that make a big difference, like fresh milk for your room and big bath towels ! Really comfortable beds, lovely linen, topped off with a sea view. We’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this one left us smiling and working out when we can go back. Forgot to mention the homemade flapjacks in our room 😁"
