"This property was a throwback today's gone by, but in a very charming way. The staff was wonderful, the armory lounge was terrific, and we liked our room. Because of the age of the hotel, there is no room to expand the bathroom. That being said, the shower was comfortable as were the other facilities. The location was fantastic. We would highly recommend this property."

"The breakfast we paid for : items that were supposed to be hot were cold, eggs potatoes and sausage. Others in our party ordered a shuttle to the airport for a 10am pick up. at 10;30 the shuttle had not shown up. Staff did not know where shuttle was and then told them that it does not run until 11a, They should of been told that when they booked it. They ended up having to get 2 Ubers for their party of 6 in order to get to the airport on time.

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for sightseeing in Portland and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We loved the little things like the flavored seltzers and snacks by the elevators on our floor. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but had a drink and sat by the beautiful gas firepit. There was live music that night which was great. All around a great stay."

"The place was awesome—clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. My only complaint was the noise from the street. The windows didn’t block the sound very well, which made it difficult to sleep at night. Overall, a great place, butter I’d recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper."
