"very close to the beach, just over the road, its better less stony if you walk about 10 mins to the right, about 5 min walk to reception, lodge is located in a quiet park of the park, I always take a tv as my son is socially anxious, and didnt leave the lodge at all, until we left, I felt it would of been useful to have a tv in the double room, as my son took over the only tv, with his xbox, and i got sent to my room, to watch tv, it was nice having the decking outside, could do with outdoor...

"Difficulty in finding property. Needs sign at entrance. Very dangerous exiting drive onto lane. Needs a mirror opposite to show lane both ways. Lodge and rooms very small. Trip switch overloads if you use kettle and use cooker same time. However, my tel contact and personal contact with the gentleman owner was very convivial. "

"The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, it is tiny but perfect for a couple. It has everything you need, an extremely comfortable bed and located in a peaceful lane, so a great place to relax. "

"Loved the design, position & decor of the hotel - staff great, v helpful. Nice generous breakfast, although de-caff coffee a bit scarce. It was a very long walk from reception to our room, and seeing as we had to go back to the car to recharge, it was the same long walk back to reception and another long walk to the car chargers and then back again! Don’t get me wrong, I like exercise, but after a four hour drive we just wanted to flop into a chair in the bar, not walk the suitcases half a mile! Bedroom spacious and well planned. Beds were very very comfortable. Glorious view over the golf course and distant landscapes. Management - please attend to curling carpet in the breakfast room? To be honest, we booked here for an over night stop on the way to the channel ferry, but so nice, would be happy to come back for a longer stay. All in all 4.8 stars."
"The property was clean throughout and some decorating had been done.
Areas had been carpeted and they were getting ready for the start of the season.
Staff were helpful and polite and dealt with anything we enquired about.
There was a lovely sea view right across from the front of the Majestic.
There was a bar and coffee lounge which were having the final touches put to them
ready for the season to start. Our room was nicely decorated with all matching furniture. We were on room only basis and were pleased with it."
"Room was a little small and showing signs of ware and tare. Excellent breakfasts with fresh fruit salads, continental spread, hot food cooked to order and tasty. I did not try the lunch or dinner but I noticed a lack of vegetarian options. I also did not try the indoor pool or gym. I had afternoon tea there which was a bit pricey and underwhelming."
"We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout by friendly helpful staff. Our room 60 with patio was lovely.so we sat in the sun overlooking gadrens listening to birds singing and a Squirrel on the lawn . The pool was just right for a lovely swim . The lounges restorant and general building and garden beautiful. Thankyou Flackley and staff for lovely stay."
