"Easy one level access to rooms. Quiet setting. I was in for one week for a film shoot at Cornell and was able to get my gear in and out of my car and safely time my room with ease. Very close to P & C grocery store and excellent fare at College Town bagels where I grabbed great salads at days end. Appreciate the heat the room provided in raw weather and used both the microwave and mini fridge daily."

"Amazing value for the price, the rooms are recently remodeled and very clean. Fast internet (cell phone reception is sketchy in the area). Breakfast is adequate. Each room has a fridge and a microwave. Good water pressure. Minutes to Cornell campus, will definitely be back."

"The hotel property itself was very clean including common areas and the room itself. Staff was incredibly helpful, our entire stay was top notch. We did not have the opportunity to sit by the bar or sit for breakfast but there were many guests that seemed to enjoy it. The breakfast aroma was wonderful! Will definitely stay here again as it’s also so close to the Cornell campus and very walkable."

"Great staff, gave me free upgrade to tower view room. Great location. Buffet is great. Complimentary fresh fruit water and lemon water tastes fresh. Little blueberry muffins are sweet. Everything is great. Will definitely come back."

"Staff yelled at me for using a coffee mug at breakfast instead of. Plastic when they had coffee mugs right there. We only had two towels and 1/2 roll tp on day 1. I called to ask for towel and tp she said you can come down and get them!!!! Wow. "

"Unique, modern-historic, safe, convenient, and well-appointed inn. I’ve stayed here in two separate occasions and can’t wait for my next trip. My son plays lax at Cortland and this is my go-to accommodation. Staying at Argos makes the 30 minute drive to Cortland worth it. Lastly, there are several places to sit, read a book, play a game, or sip a craft cocktail right on site. Lovely!"

"There was not much choice"

"The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is very good. The room was big! The grounds are looking a bit rough. We were there off season so that may have had something to do with it. The room was very warm. We found out that the A/C wasn't turned on yet. Thankfully the windows opened. The breakfast is very basic. Hard-boiled eggs, bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt. "

This time there were a number of issues: no safe in the room, driveway and parking lot were basically rubble, uneven tile on the bathroom floor that we tripped on numerous times, shower curtain would not close, they only cleaned the room every three days, and we asked for sheets for the hide-away bed and they had stains on them,"

"As always, enjoyed our stay here. There was some trouble with the lighting in the bathroom after some repairs, and we were offered a different room, but decided to stay in the room we had selected. As usual, breakfasts were delicious, and the desserts were wonderful . It is always a pleasure to stay here, and the location is perfect for forays into downtown."

"The only thing in the lobby was water. In the past there has been coffee or tea and even hot cider (packet). There was nno cocoa in the room (as in the past) and even though it was early May, the weather was chilly."
