"Nice homestead but there was no mention of shared facilities (ie a single toilet & shower) to accommodate the entire house when booking. Other guests decided to fry up some fish late at night and the smell permeated into the bedroom, very unpleasant but guess we cant fault the host for this. Our bedroom was right next to the shared bathroom and soundproofing was limited! Bedding was clean but found a random sock and some other bits which implies a surface clean only between guests. "Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were basic but clean and very comfortable. A simple breakfast was also included. There is a cafe on site selling soup and panini’s but it closes at 5pm so wee went into nearby Hofn for dinner both days which was only 15 mins in the car. It’s a superb location for enjoying the beach and mountains."

"The room was clean and cozy; we were in room 13 and the view from the front porch was amazing. We had never stayed in a Guesthouse and were a little unsure what to expect, but would absolutely stay here again. It was nicely located between the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Hali and Hofn. We were able to do our excursions easily and see reindeer and the northern lights. "
